Our Noise Canceller is used to reduce noise from a voice communication path in order to improve speech intelligibility. Such a requirement is common in handsfree speaker phones or car kits where street noise may impair a conversation.
The current implementation requires two microphones, one to estimate the background noise, the other for the voice path which may include background noise. The microphones may be positioned deliberately, however, the speaker microphone should be directed to the speaker, while the background mic should be positioned "off-axis".
