With our 50 years of collective experience in software development, we are in the position to manage large and complex projects. We always keep an eye on the efficiency of programming, thereby reducing the hardware performance requirements to a minimum. This approach is based on early experiences where the company founder had been involved in CNC machine control programming based on a CMOS micro-controller (CDP1802 COSMAC) running at 1.0 MHz used to control the diamond grinding of hardened materials for the automotive industry. Today, we are looking at several thousands of DSP-MIPS allowing us to make the impossible real. Still, we are reluctant to waste precious performance, introducing co-processing logic in form of FPGA where meaningful. The abundance of projects have also yielded a number of algorithms which are offered in form of libraries, especially for speech and telecom applications. |

Hardware Expertise |

For more than a decade, we have been developing complex hardware for digital signal processing applications, based on both standard DSP devices (such as Analog Devices SHARC and Blackfin, Texas Instruments TMS320C54xx, C55xx, C67xx and DM64x) and customised solutions using Xilinx FPGA. Wherever neccessary, we also make use of micro-controller devices including ARM7, PIC, MSP430 and H8. We are proficient in using tools for schematic capture (Orcad, Protel), CAD layout (Protel 99SE, Ultiboard), ABEL for CPLD and VHDL for FPGA and CPLD. A major advantage is our capability of rapid prototyping using our in-house soldering tools for BGA and fine-pitch components. Larger batches of PCB production are generally outsourced to our local partners, however, quality testing is performed by ourselves using functional test equipment and a boundary scan test system. |

At all times we bear in mind the resulting costs of ownership, just like we would on our own behalf.
